I would like to have the topic in details with example and diagram from the creation of the service account in AD to SQL in details.

I prefer a small lab setup in the book,so that I can build the same setup to learn. I tried to install all 14 machines ,then when I start the config I noticed that Database details were missing. You should created some scripts to create the Databases used in this book. Very difficult to follow the book

Found the Script for SQl DB. (Sorry for the initial comment)

But still I would prefer to simplify with less machines and proper guidelines. I have no idea where to start

        Hi Chris,
I know installation is a tricky part when it comes to FIM.
If you do not need all components in your lab you can reduce the number of servers.
Also keep in mind that Sync, Service and PW can all be installed on the same server if you like.
In that case just use the book as guidance for each role.
As for where to start… Well the pre-reqs with all the service accounts, SQL aliases and Kerberos settings are required no matter how many servers you use.

        Hope this helps!
